I bought a pair of earrings over the phone yesterday! Sight unseen! A friend who knows I like dragonflies called me to chat, and mentioned that a friend of his makes and sells jewelry, and has these 2 pairs of earrings! One was described as too big for my taste, but the other seemed really cool! So now I'm hopping up and down looking forward to getting some new bling!
Speaking of jewelry, did I tell you that I bought a set of pearls from China? A friend of mine went there for business, and had told me about pearls they sell there. So she got me a set, necklace, earrings, and bracelet. I am excited about them too. Debating if I should get them appraised, as my friend mentioned that one of her co workers bought a set that was valued over $3000, and she paid $100! I paid $95 for mine!
So, what have you bought lately? Anything sight unseen?

I might have sold something sight unseen to a friend of mine lately, but I can't quite recall . . .
I avoid ebay but find myself occasionally taken in by something. I guess it's not 'sight unseen' since they have pics though, lol.
Definitely get the pearls appraised. Hmm, or not. It could go either way, good news or bad. I'd hate to see you disappointed with the appraisal and if it affected how much you like them, don't.
MM, I don't think it would affect how I like them. I'm being more practical, thinking if by some chance they are worth a lot, I should have an insurance rider.
I've bought lots of dork supplies lately.
And today I have to venture out to find some cars for Conner's birthday as well as some underwear for him. I'm going to have to go to freaking Wal-Mart, and I'm not happy.
Our Target is famous for being out of stuff and not re-stocking for weeks to months. I've waited as long as I can. I could go to another Target, but it's too far way. Wal-Mart is on my way back from the gym.
*giggle* every time I see my dragonfly beads I think of you.
hmmmmm I also bought dork supplies, I have to get going on making my Christmas cards. *grin*
*grin* every time I wear my dragonfly jewelry I think of you Breezy!
I once bought stamps to make Christmas cards. I found the stamps 4 years later.
I can never bring myself to buy something sight unseen. As close as I have gotten is buying online through an online catalog for Breezy's daughter's school fundraiser.
