Jessica lost her battle on Saturday night, and in her mom's words, is now singing and dancing with Jesus and the angels, in no more pain.
Both Linda (my friend) and Jessica have been such and inspiration to many of us. It helped to remind me to keep strong in my own faith, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges and obstacles.
I'm proud to have known Jessica in her health and during the past 19 months. I'm not at all sad for her victory over death, just sad for her family that is left behind, for now.
RIP Jess.

What a lovely young lady.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
Yes, it is sad for such a young person to lose such a battle. Just give your friend lots of hugs!
I am so sorry for this loss. I can't even imagine how it would feel to lose a child. I know you are a great comfort to your friend.

Oh DF, I've read this and every time I try to respond, I just can't. I don't know why really, but I just break down every time. I am so sorry to hear this and for the loss that the people who love her are feeling.
